Lunar New Year - Celebration

Head to Safety Bay Library for a vibrant cultural experience to welcome the Year of the Snake. Immerse yourself in the rich traditions and crafts that bring this festive season to life.

9.30am - 11am Create delicate, handcrafted lanterns or lotus flowers using paper art

9.30am - 11am Discover the art of Chinese calligraphy and learn how to write your first name

9.40am - 9.55am Bilingual story time in English and Mandarin

10am - 11.30am Traditional dress up photo booth

11am - 11.05am Traditional dance performance

This is a free event for all ages, bookings not required.

Children under the age of 13 years must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times while in a City of Rockingham Library.
