A three-month-old baby girl remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital after a freak camping accident in Dwellingup.
The baby, her parents and two dogs were inside a tent at the Nanga Mill campsite at Lane Poole Reserve when a large pine tree fell on them around 3.30am on Sunday.
Fellow campers rushed to help the family who were pinned under the tree.
They managed to free the trio and took them to hospital.
The baby girl is understood to have suffered multiple broken bones and remains at Perth Children's Hospital.
Her parents were both treated at Peel Health Campus and have since been discharged.
Nine News reports one of family's pet dogs died in the accident.
The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions is investigating.
