Entries for the City of Rockingham Art Awards are closing soon.
The theme of this year's awards is 'Space'.
This year there will be seven categories - Open, Emerging, Heritage, Indigenous, Local Resident, Youth and 3D.
Up to 100 works will be exhibited at the Gary Holland Community Centre and Rockingham Arts Centre from May 4 - 19.
City of Rockingham mayor Barry Sammels is encouraging artists to enter before the deadline.
"The Art Awards are an annual event that gives artists from all backgrounds the opportunity to display their creative abilities," he said.
"I encourage any artists, whether they are emerging or established to make an entry in this year's competition."
A total of $20,000 in prizes will be awarded.
Entries close on Friday February 22.
