There will be another clean-up for Mandurah's waterways, this time in the marina.
The on-land and in-water clean-up comes after a local dolphin died after becoming entangled in fishing line multiple times.
On Sunday October 6, the local community are invited to help clean Dolphin Quay with all ages welcome.
There will be two aspects to the clean-up with divers and snorkelers searching the water, and walkers for the land.
It is advised to bring gloves and collection bags, as well as diving equipment if you plan on getting in the water.
After the cleanup, there will be a debrief and sorting session for the rubbish, as well as a sausage sizzle.
There has been huge support from the community in previous events, with the latest clean-up on Saturday seeing 124 volunteers collect 166kgs of rubbish and plastics.
This included 292 metres of fishing line, 1170 cigarette butts and 365 pieces of plastic food packaging.
The October event will be ran by Oceano Dive Centre.
