New COVID cases have emerged at two aged care homes in Mandurah.
Brightwater Care Group said two residents had tested positive at The Cove facility in Dudley Park on Sunday morning.
They are both triple vaccinated.
In an email to family, Brightwater chief executive Jennifer Lawrence said they have enacted their outbreak management plan and are working with the Department of Health.
"This includes asking residents to remain in their rooms where possible, undertaking a deep clean of the site and testing all staff and clients for COVID-19," Ms Lawrence said.
"All visits to site have been stopped for now, but our communications support officers will be in touch to set up contact with your loved one at The Cove.
"The health and wellbeing of our residents, staff, volunteers and families is our number one priority right now."
Meanwhile, another aged care home has also reported a positive case of COVID.
Coolibah Care in Mandurah confirmed an agency staff member returned a positive rapid antigen test on Sunday morning.
The staff member worked one shift on Saturday from 4pm to 9.30pm in one wing of the facility.
Residents in the affected wing have been asked to remain in their rooms and visitor access has been restricted.
The new cases come after an outbreak at Juniper Cygnet aged care facility in Bentley where the number of positive cases has grown to 17.
