The Rottweiler named Blitzy went missing earlier this week and became snagged on a blackberry bush.
Senior Constable Kelsall was off duty when she spotted the distressed dog and waded into the flood waters.
Harvey Shire Ranger Scott also helped to rescue Blitzy and together they were able to free her.
She was taken home safe and sound to her owners.
