A driver has been fined for travelling too slow on a Perth freeway.
Police pulled over a Toyota Landcruiser that was reportedly travelling at 28km/h under the 100km/h speed limit on the Mitchell Freeway on Monday night.
The driver was fined $50.
The offence does not carry a demerit point penalty.
Under WA's traffic laws, it is illegal to travel more than 21km/h under the speed limit on a freeway.
Driving 28kmh under the speed limit on the freeway causes frustration which results in bad decisions which results in accidents. Can't do the limit stay off the freeway! #TEG3 pic.twitter.com/JvWDudvWrP
