The Shire of Murray is seeking expressions of interest from businesses interested in operating a hospitality venue at the Edenvale Homestead in Pinjarra.
The 130-year-old building at the Edenvale Heritage Precinct is one of the most historic buildings in the Peel Region.
Formerly operating as the Edenvale Heritage Tea Rooms, the homestead is already equipped with a commercial kitchen.
It is situated within the heart of the Edenvale Precinct which includes an art gallery, museum, art and crafts shop, and heritage buildings.
The Shire of Murray hopes to find an operator who can offer a unique experience for residents and visitors.
The expression of interest guidelines suggest preference will be given to vendors delivering a food or beverage experience, providing services consistent with the goals of the precinct, and offering seven-day trading.
Shire CEO Dean Unsworth said the Edenvale Heritage precinct is a cultural landmark within the Shire of Murray.
“This expression of interest is a great opportunity to be part of the story and contribute to the next chapter of the Homestead,” Mr Unsworth said.
A site inspection of the homestead will take place on October 11 at 3pm.
The closing date to submit expressions of interest is October 26.
