
Police are calling for witnesses after the school crossing guard was struck by a vehicle.
Traffic Enforcement Group officers are seeking witnesses to an incident after a 74-year-old Traffic Warden received injuries after being hit by a car.
Around 3.10pm on Tuesday, the crossing guard was carrying out his duties near the intersection of Ord and Ellen Streets in Fremantle.
He stepped out onto the road to assist a group of children cross the road, when he was hit by a vehicle.
The female driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene. The warden was taken to Royal Perth Hospital, and remains in hospital being treated for abrasions and further examination.
