Police are asking for the public's help to identify two men believed to be involved in a brawl in Cooloongup that left a man with serious head injuries.
Three men and a woman were drinking alcohol with each other near the intersection of Ennis Avenue and Grange Drive around 1.40am on Sunday, August 18.
After a verbal altercation between two of the men, one of them punched the other causing him to hit his head on the ground, knocking him unconscious.
Before leaving, the group placed the victim into the recovery position and walked down Grange Drive, away from Ennis Avenue.
A short time later, the victim regained consciousness, got up and walked in the same direction as the group.
Around 2am, a commotion was heard near the intersection of Grange Drive and Mataitai Loop.
The same group were seen fighting at the location.
A resident approached the group and all but the victim left the scene.
An ambulance was called for the victim and he was taken to hospital and treated for several facial fractures.
Police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The woman has been identified and has spoken to police.
The first man is described as light skinned, around 30-years-of-age, solid build, dark brown hair and a full beard and moustache.
He was wearing a dark jumper and light-coloured shorts.
The second man is described as dark skinned, thin/medium build, dark hair and facial hair.
He was wearing a black hooded top and blue jeans.
