A new treehouse-inspired playground is now open in Golden Bay.
Located at the corner of Elvina Vista and Israelite Avenue, the new park features a nature style playground, a treehouse play structure, seesaws and swings, a toddler play area, an expansive open space and picnic and barbeque facilities.

Golden Bay's very own 'Jacobs Ladder' is also under construction nearby and is due to open in Spring 2022.
It will include 118 steps and offer climbers a 360-degree view of the coast and community.
