WA Police are cracking down on the unlawful use of off-road motorcycles.
As part of Operation Education, State Traffic officers have been gathering intelligence and will now be conducting search warrants targeting people involved in the stealing of off-road motorbikes along with those who ride them dangerously on the streets.
Police have also released CCTV of a burglary in Ravenswood where four off-road motorbikes were stolen.
They are appealing for the public's help to identify the offenders.
State Traffic Divisional Superintendent Alyson Brett said information from the community is vital.
“Unlicensed vehicles are hard to detect and at times, the riders are extremely hard to identify," she said.
"Members of the public may know where these bikes are coming from, and going to, within our communities.
"We are appealing to these individuals, to contact Crime Stoppers, and provide that information to police, so we can investigate in a timely manner.”
Anyone with information regarding the unlawful use of off-road motorbikes is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or report online at crimestopperswa.com.au.
