A bushfire in Port Kennedy that took firefighters two days to battle has been deemed suspicious.
The fire broke out in the Port Kennedy Scientific Park Nature Reserve just before 10pm on Monday.
It took fire crews hours to contain the blaze.
The fire then flared up again on Tuesday morning, prompting another massive response from firefighters on the ground and in the air.
It is now contained and under control.
A bushfire advice remains in place for residents in an area bounded by Port Kennedy Drive, Warnbro Sound Avenue and Secret Harbour Boulevard.
People are asked to report any suspicious behaviour to Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
