A shark advice warning has been issued after a dolphin carcass was spotted in the water off Rockingham Beach this morning.
Officers from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions removed the carcass shortly after it was reported around 10am.
Authorities believe it is possible that residue from the carcass will continue to act as an attractant for sharks and urge people to exercise additional caution in the area.
