Incident Controller Blake Moore told 9Radio firefighters have saved several homes in the fire zone.
"We can say that we have not lost any properties so that's a great result," Incident Controller Moore said.
The Arson Squad is investigating the cause of the massive blaze which has ripped through 225 hectares.
A watch and act alert remains for parts of Naturaliste, Dunsborough and Eagle Bay.
The fire is now contained but residents are being warned conditions could change and there is still a possible threat to lives and homes.
