A 17-year-old boy has been charged over an alleged police chase through Baldivis.
Police spotted a stolen Hyundai Elantra travelling along Mennock Approach around 10pm on Monday.
When they activated their lights and sirens the driver allegedly failed to stop.
Police followed the Hyundai for a short time before the occupants abandoned the car on Mundijong Road near the Kwinana Freeway and fled on foot.
After a short chase, police arrested two of the occupants.
Inquiries are continuing into the whereabouts of the third person.
Police allege the Hyundai had been stolen from a carpark in Baldivis earlier in the day.
A 17-year-old boy from Yokine has been charged with stealing a motor vehicle, reckless driving, failing to stop and no authority to drive.
He will appear before the Perth Children's Court today.
