Teen girls airlifted to hospital following serious Karnup crash

Two 17-year-old girls have been airlifted to hospital following a serious crash in Karnup.

Police say a red Hyundai Accent sedan, travelling south on Mandurah Road, and a black Nissan Dualis sedan travelling east on Stakehill Road, were involved in a collision about 6.20pm on Friday, March 8.

The driver and rear passenger of the Hyundai, both 17-year-old girls, were airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries.

The front passenger, also a 17-year-old girl, was taken by ambulance to Fiona Stanley Hospital.

The 38-year-old female driver of the Nissan was uninjured.
