WAFLW: Peel crushed by Swans

The Peel Thunder women have suffered another heavy loss in round two of the WAFLW on Sunday.

Swan Districts proved too good for the Thunder, who were restricted to just one goal in the 10.13 (73) to 1.4 (10) clash at Steel Blue Oval.

It was their second straight loss after going down to West Perth by 19-points in round one.

Peel's lone goal was kicked by Gracie Fenton with Ebony Bilcich gathering 28 disposals, Ebony Dowson 21, Fenton 18 and Holly Britton 16.

Coach Ethan Norris said it was a disappointing game.

"Definitely not the result we were looking for...the forward line let us down a fair bit," he said.

"We had 30 inside 50s for only four scoring shots which isn't good enough."

Norris said some changes will be made ahead of their round three clash with South Fremantle back at Lane Group Stadium on Saturday.

"We had ten girls out on the weekend, that were unavailable due to injury or other things happening, so we're going to have some changes for this week."
