Channel 7’s Telethon was on in Perth across the weekend.

The state’s fundraiser brought in a whopping $83.3 million, bringing the collective total since Telethon started in 1968 to 688 million dollars!

The funds go towards supporting an incredible 136 children's charities, beneficiaries, and community organisations that are pivotal in advancing medical research and providing essential services, equipment, and programs for sick children and their families all over Western Australia.

So many Perthonalities volunteer their time – as well as Channel 7 stars, and big-name celebs who fly in from over East including Guy Sebastian, Rob Mills, Samantha Jade, Vanessa Amorosi, and Human Nature.

And of course – a big shout out to the local volunteers in the phone room and on the ground.

But the real stars of the weekend were the little Telethon Stars Florence, Nate, Charlee, and Nazeem who represent the children of Western Australia and what Telethon is all about!

Human Nature and all the guest stars closed the weekend at RAC Arena with a Motown classic.

Cher, Mary J. Blige, Ozzy Osbourne, Kool & the Gang, A Tribe Called Quest, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, and Peter Frampton were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame on Saturday night!

The evening boasted many amazing performances including a duet with Kelly Clarkson and Foreigner’s Lou Gramm
