The Awards season is in full swing.
The Palm Springs Film Festival was over the weekend in California and our own Nicole Kidman was honoured with the International Star Award, dedicating the award to her late mother.
Ariana Grande also received an award for Rising Star for her role as Glinda in Wicked.
Nicole and Ariana are also nominated for Golden Globes with the Awards Ceremony taking place in Beverly Hills.
Other Australian actors up for awards include Guy Pearce for best supporting male actor in The Brutalist.
Cate Blanchett for best performance in a limited series for Disclaimer.
And Naomi Watts for Feud: Capote vs The Swans.

Sad news from Hollywood with the passing of Hollywood actress Aubrey Plaza’s filmmaker husband – Jeff Baena - who was found dead in their home in Los Angeles on Friday. He was 47.
The notoriously private couple had been together since 2011 and Aubrey had starred in several of his movies. Plaza has not yet released a statement on the death of her husband.

Jennifer Lopez stars in the documentary drama which centers around the life of wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg and won a national championship in 2011 while competing at Arizona State University.
