Los Angeles is still on fire – with the fires persisting as increasing winds are expected this week.
There have been at least 16 deaths and over 10,000 structures damaged or destroyed in L.A. with over 40,000 acres of land burned.
After yesterday's progress in containing the Eaton and Palisades fires, firefighters are bracing for several days of winds that could hamper efforts to contain the firestorm.

Sam Moore from the R&B 1960s duo Sam and Dave who were known for hits like Soul Man and Hold On, I’m Comin’, has died at the age of 89, due to complications while recovering from surgery in a Florida hospital.
Moore, who influenced musicians including Michael Jackson, Al Green, Bruce Springsteen and more, was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1992.
