Roberta Flack, the Grammy-winning singer renowned for hits like "Killing Me Softly with His Song" and "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face," has passed away at 88.
She died peacefully at her home in New York, surrounded by family.
Flack's soulful voice and timeless music left an indelible mark on the music industry, earning her multiple Grammy Awards and a lasting legacy.

The 31st Screen Actors Guild Awards were held on Monday in LA, celebrating outstanding performances in film and television.
Kristen Bell hosted the evening – and channeled her Frozen character, Anna, in a reworked song… about actors.
Timothée Chalamet won the SAG for Best Actor for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown and gave an inspiring acceptance speech.
Demi Moore took out Best Actress for her confronting role in The Substance and thanked her fellow actors.
Papal thriller “Conclave” made off with the evening’s top trophy for outstanding cast (SAG’s equivalent of best picture), while A-listers Zoe Saldaña – pronounced sal danya - (for "Emilia Pérez") and Kieran Culkin (for "A Real Pain") continued their months-long sweeps in acting categories.
Only Murders in the Building took out Outstanding Cast in television.
Hollywood legend Jane Fonda received the Lifetime Achievement Award for her enduring impact on the industry.
