This morning our Mayor Rhys Williams dropped by the studio to talk about our K9 Rescue Group Quiz Night Fundraiser which was held last Friday at Peel Thunder's Platinum Room.
Huge thanks to the 200 people that bought tickets and came along on the night, to all of our incredible local businesses who donated awesome prizes to auction and raffle, including Peel Thunder who donated the function room... plus, some big personal monetary donations were made by Robyn Clarke MLA and our own Daniel Gunn.
We raised a total of $10,000!!! for Jake and his amazing team at K9 Rescue Group, who will continue to look after all of the doggos that are looking for their fur-ever homes.
